NewsSharon Osbourne-Courtney Love feud continuesThe mud-slinging between Sharon Osbourne and Courtney Love continued today with reports that Osbourne called Love a "has been". Perezhilton.com reports that Osbourne said "I'm glad [Courtney Love] doesn't like me. I only pity her. She's a virus. I don't want her anywhere near people I love. The cold hard fact is she's a has-been," The pair became embroiled in a media-slanging match last month after Osbourne accused Love of giving her son Jack Osbourne drugs. Osbourne blamed Love for her son's addiction to painkillers, including the drug OxyContin and reportedly said "I will never have time for Courtney Love. She was the first person to give my son Jack the prescription drug OxyContin. There's not a shadow of doubt in my mind about that. My dislike towards her is very personal." Love denied giving the teenager drugs saying "I never did that. I would never give drugs to a teenager. F**k you Sharon - as if I would ever give drugs to a teenager." Jack Osbourne received treatment for his drug addition in 2003. Phil Spector continues work in studio during trial Phil Spector is continuing his producing work throughout his trial for murder. The legendary music producer is working with new solo artist Hargo, whom he met at his Alhambra mansion where actress Lana Clarkson was shot dead in February 2003. Spector told Hargo "You remind me of a young John Lennon" and ditched scheduled production work with The Vines in order to work with the solo newbie. Spector has been working with Hargo in the studio and evenings after his sessions in court, and a track entitled 'Crying for John Lennon' will feature in the upcoming Lennon documentary 'Strawberry Fields' Keeping the Spirit of John Lennon Alive', which features an interview with Spector recorded in February of this year. According to Spector, "It's a wonderful song. Actually it sounds like something John would have given me produce back in the day." Meanwhile, Spector's trial continues today. Stay tuned to NME.COM for daily updates from the courtroom. |
